Synopsis

This monograph examines the pressing issue of the Ukrainian-Russian war, which has undoubtedly led to a state of severe psychological distress and uncertainty both within Ukraine and beyond its borders. Adaptation under conditions of uncertainty is a highly complex and multifaceted process that demands significant physical and psychological resources from individuals. Adaptation is defined as the process of ensuring active functioning and regulating one's standard of living as far as possible under conditions of constant uncertainty, where the course of future events is unknown and unpredictable. This enables people to maintain a positive emotional state, improve their ability to carry out daily tasks, strengthen social ties and foster constructive relationships.
