EFFICIENT HANDLING OF COMPLAINTS: UPHOLDING INTEGRITY AND ETHICAL STANDARDS
In its operational framework, the Publisher upholds the core principles of academic integrity and ethical standards across all facets of the publishing process. Each complaint submitted to the publisher undergoes meticulous analysis and consideration, resulting in a carefully crafted response, even in cases of anonymous submissions. The Publisher places a high emphasis on the availability of credible evidence pertaining to the essence of the complaint. Consequently, if a complaint exhibits signs of defamation or hints at a conflict of interest, the publisher requests compelling arguments that can substantiate the complaint's core aspects, effectively dispelling suspicions of defamation or conflict of interest. In the absence of such substantiation, the complaint is duly recorded, but further proceedings are suspended until substantial arguments are provided.
Any assertions made on social media or in comments are subject to review by the publisher, provided they do not contain defamatory content and have a direct relevance to the publisher. The publisher conducts periodic monitoring of such discussions; however, it's important to note that not all comments or posts may be identified. These statements do not hold official status, yet if they contain well-reasoned and scientifically grounded arguments, they may be considered even without an official appeal to the publisher.
In adhering to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) recommendations, the editorial board meticulously selects the response format. In cases where complaints are directed towards published articles and their legitimacy is substantiated, they will be promptly referred to the respective journal's editorial office, and the article recall policy will be set in motion.
