In 2026, Scientific Route OÜ® publisher adopted a Fee Reduction Policy. According to it, scientists from developing countries can apply to the publishing house with a request for a reduction in fees for publishing services.

Based on World Bank country groupings, Scientific Route OÜ® publisher can offer three fee reduction models:

1. Model 1 is for low- and lower-middle-income countries.
2. Model 2 is for upper-middle-income countries.
3. Model 3 is for Estonia and neighboring countries.

 

Model 1 provides for a fee reduction of up to 30% for the following countries:

Malawi Mauritania Micronesia, Fed. Sts. Morocco Mozambique Nepal Nigeria Pakistan Papua New Guinea Philippines Rwanda Samoa São Tomé and Principe Senegal Sierra Leone Solomon Islands

Model 2 provides for a fee reduction of up to 20% for the following countries:

Albania Argentina Azerbaijan Belize Bosnia and Herzegovina Botswana Brazil Colombia Costa Rica Dominica Dominican Republic Ecuador

El Salvador Fiji Gabon Georgia Grenada Guatemala Indonesia Iraq Jamaica Kazakhstan Kosovo Libya

Malaysia Maldives Marshall Islands Mauritius Mexico Moldova Mongolia Montenegro Namibia North Macedonia Paraguay Peru

Model 3 provides for a fee reduction of up to 40% for the following countries:

Estonia

Finland

Latvia

Lithuania

Ukraine*

* In line with Estonia’s unwavering support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian academic community during the ongoing war, the Publisher Scientific Route OÜ® program is offering a temporary 40% discount on publication fees for authors from Ukraine.

 

Fee reduction quotas are available only to individuals.

The publisher reserves the right to refuse to provide a fee reduction.
