Fee Reduction Policy for monographs

In 2026, Scientific Route OÜ® publisher adopted a Fee Reduction Policy. According to it, scientists from developing countries can apply to the publishing house with a request for a reduction in fees for publishing services.

Based on World Bank country groupings, Scientific Route OÜ® publisher can offer three fee reduction models:

1. Model 1 is for low- and lower-middle-income countries.
2. Model 2 is for upper-middle-income countries.
3. Model 3 is for Estonia and neighboring countries.

 

Model 1 provides for a fee reduction of up to 40% for the following countries:

Afghanistan Angola Bangladesh Benin Bhutan Bolivia Burundi Cabo Verde Cambodia Cameroon Chad Comoros Congo, Dem. Rep Côte d'Ivoire Djibouti Egypt, Arab. Rep.

Eswatini Ethiopia Gambia, The Ghana Guinea Guinea-Bissau Haiti Honduras Jordan Kenya Kiribati Lao PDR Lebanon Lesotho Liberia Madagascar

Malawi Mauritania Micronesia, Fed. Sts. Morocco Mozambique Nepal Nigeria Pakistan Papua New Guinea Philippines Rwanda Samoa São Tomé and Principe Senegal Sierra Leone Solomon Islands

Somalia South Sudan Sri Lanka Sudan Tanzania Timor-Leste Togo Tunisia Uganda Vanuatu Vietnam West Bank and Gaza Yemen, Rep. Zambia

 

Model 2 provides for a fee reduction of up to 30% for the following countries:

Albania Argentina Azerbaijan Belize Bosnia and Herzegovina Botswana Brazil Colombia Costa Rica Dominica Dominican Republic Ecuador

El Salvador Fiji Gabon Georgia Grenada Guatemala Indonesia Iraq Jamaica Kazakhstan Kosovo Libya

Malaysia Maldives Marshall Islands Mauritius Mexico Moldova Mongolia Montenegro Namibia North Macedonia Paraguay Peru

Serbia St. Lucia St. Vincent and the Grenadines Suriname Thailand Tonga Türkiye Turkmenistan Tuvalu Ukraine *

* In connection with the armed aggression of Russia, in support of Ukrainian scientists and science, the Publisher Scientific Route OÜ ® has temporarily increased the discount for the publication of the monograph to 50% for authors from Ukraine.

 

Model 3 provides for a fee reduction of up to 50% for the following countries:

Estonia

Finland

Latvia

Lithuania

 

Fee reduction quotas are available only to individuals.

The publisher reserves the right to refuse to provide a fee reduction.
