SAFEGUARDING INTEGRITY: SCIENTIFIC ROUTE OÜ'S STANCE ON PLAGIARISM AND DUPLICATE PUBLICATION
In adherence to the highest standards of academic integrity, Scientific Route OÜ upholds a strict policy against plagiarism and duplicate publication across all its publications. The detection of plagiarism is an integral part of our initial manuscript evaluation process, conducted upon submission, utilizing the specialized service iThenticate.
Prevention Measures: If plagiarism is identified at the manuscript submission stage, the submission is immediately disqualified for further consideration.
Post-Publication Investigation: Should instances of plagiarism be discovered after the monograph's publication, our editorial team initiates a thorough investigation, following the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The measures taken depend on the extent of the identified plagiarism.
Response Options:
- Author Communication: Authors are contacted for official explanations and clarification.
- Institutional Notification: Relevant institutions employing the authors are informed about the detected plagiarism.
- Indexing Resources Notification: All indexing resources are promptly notified about the identified plagiarism.
- Publication Marking: The affected publication is marked with the label "PLAGIARISM" across all indexing resources.
- Sanctions Application: Additional sanctions, as outlined in the License Agreement concerning violations of authorship guarantees, may be applied.
COOPERATION WITH COPE: Scientific Route OÜ aligns its procedures with COPE recommendations, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and ethical publishing practices.
Our commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards ensures the integrity of our publications and contributes to fostering a scholarly environment built on trust and authenticity.
